Several times throughout the year, July 4th,  Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, we pause, and remember the sacrifices made, too often taken for granted.  Likewise, where we live, it’s easy to walk right past our Jewish history.  Jewish Holidays are a time to recess and be mindful of those who paid, and pay a price, for the people we are so blessed to be.  And like our American holidays, we can also have some fun in the process.  We’re a minority in our town, our country, and so, the calendar doesn’t stop for us.  It requires intentionality on our part.  Another reason Jewish community is so important…
