    Having Jewish community for comradery and leadership gives Mazel Tov to the joys of births, anniversaries, B’nai Mitzvahs, etc.  It also provides Refuah’s to the need for strength in times of difficulty and mourning.

    Judaism is an extraordinary story of survival, the basics of which are generally understood.  Digging a little deeper reveals fascination providing a bridge to a passion for our continued existence.

    Judaism is filled with fascinating pockets of wisdom and guidance.  There are many unique blessings, eccentricities, idiosyncrasies, and quirks which offer an interesting alternative to the words and phrases we might otherwise ordinarily say.

    Long before Zero Mostel’s Fiddler and long after Barbara Streisand’s Avinu Malkeinu, music has and continues to bring us together and nourish our roots with a sense of being there.

    The fundamentals of the Torah have awareness, and the terms Talmud and Midrash have been heard.   The latter two guide Judaism today.  Becoming more familiar with them, even at just a surface level, offers a deeper connection.
